1. Why did you join ABSA?

I joined ABSA to dip my toes into the business world, hoping to gain valuable experience for my future. I knew it was one of the largest organizations in McCombs, and the fact that a huge portion of its student body consists of other Asians made me feel right at home.

2. What is your favorite ABSA memory?

I loved participating in and photographing ABSA’s IM sports overall. The commodore that forms with the teams is special to see. Volleyball and basketball were super fun to play, and although I didn’t play ultimate frisbee, I remember how hype the games were to watch. There was one playoff game in particular that was super memorable- it was raining like crazy, but the team still kept on fighting till the end. It was super intense, with the crowd going wild whenever we scored (check out our Flickr the footage of that night is on it lol).

3. If you could give one piece of advice to your freshman self, what would it be?

You set your own destiny, no one else! Work towards the goals you want to achieve, and every day will feel exciting.

4. What is your favorite food/ favorite place to eat in Austin?

Kerbey Lane on a Sunday morning hits different can’t even lie.

5. Name the top five things on your bucket list

  1. Create a product that positively affects millions

  2. Go to a courtside NBA game

  3. Visit New Zealand and take in the beautiful scenery

  4. Make one absolute banger of a song (producers hit me up)

  5. Win pickleball intramurals at UT

6. What fictional world or place would you like to visit?

Paris (so I can try Remy’s ratatouille of course)
