1. Why did you join ABSA?

I got reeled in during an organization fair in the beginning of freshman year because I honestly felt lost and confused as a business major. I was unsure about what clubs I wanted to join and I was like why not? The first meeting really got me excited and it even convinced me to apply for directorship. The more I went to events and meetings throughout the year, the more I loved ABSA and what it could offer to me not only professionally, but socially and philanthropically as well.

2. What is your favorite ABSA memory?

My favorite memory has to be the first family general meeting (fam reveal) I hosted with my co-director! The room literally was filled that people had to sit on the stairs and the ground. It was the first time I had to lead a whole event in college, so it made me glad to see a lot of members show up and support. I also enjoyed every moment with my branch and other events where I got to meet so many of my friends!

3. If you could give one piece of advice to your freshman self, what would it be?

I would say if you have the opportunity take it and don't take J2 for granted.

4. What is your favorite food/ favorite place to eat in Austin?

Definitely J2 (if I were a freshman), but I liked going to Kerbey Lane or Pinch with my friends occasionally.

5. Name the top five things on your bucket list

1. See the northern lights

2. Travel to South Korea and Japan!

3. Learn a new language

4. Live in another state :)

5. Go on a trip with friends

6. What fictional world or place would you like to visit?

Probably anywhere Studio Ghibli (the art is amazing).
